Class Schedule

Fall 2020

10-week Music Together Online session with the Bongos song collection

Dates: September 17 to November 19

Enrolled families will have access to one 30-minute classes each week--posted on Thursday mornings, along with one shorter storybook and/or lullaby video for the week. These videos will be posted into our private Bongos group on Facebook where you will also find exclusive content just for families enrolled in Music Together Online this fall. Alternate links to video classes may be provided upon request.

Class videos will be available on-demand for three weeks after posting.

Class Times:

Music Together Online can be accessed according to your family's unique scheduling needs. Each 30-minute video experience will be loaded Thursday mornings, but you will be able to watch (and rewatch!) videos on-demand to suit your schedule. Some families like to watch at the class time they are used to setting aside in their previous schedules, others wait until the whole family can gather after parents are finished working for the day or even viewing right before the bedtime routine begins.

When we are able to resume group in-person classes safely, we will do so. We will continue to monitor the health situation in our community as scheduling decisions are made.

The following class times on each Thursday are typical of our group class schedule.

10:00 AM , 11:00 AM or  5:30 PM

Each group class is 45 minutes in length and includes a dozen songs, chants, and movement activities to engage participants at their own level. The mixed-age, family-style class experience will range from six to twelve registered students and their caregivers.

Location:

In your own home!

In the future, when it is safe to resume group classes, we hope to return to our previous location. There may be a couple of opportunities to gather outdoors in small groups of socially-distanced families on the lawn outside The Hub as weather and the community advisories permit. Class videos will still be available for those who cannot join us.

Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church in The Hub, Shawnee Community Room A

1200 Kings Highway, Winona Lake, IN 46590

-The church is near the Grace College Campus and Jefferson Elementary. Parking is provided in the lot behind the church between 13th Street and Publisher’s Drive.

Tuition:

$150 per family; $25 per enrolled sibling 0-5 years old

-Family is defined for registration purposes as siblings (biological, step or foster) living in one household with regular access to the class materials; this pricing does not include extended family or friends residing at a separate address. Videos may not be shared or viewed with families who are not enrolled in Music Together Online.

-Sibling fees for Music Together Online are invoiced on the honor system. Space is limited in group classes, however, and each sibling pays a higher sibling rate.

Payments are accepted via electronic invoice. Full payment is due before your family is considered to be officially enrolled in the class..

Tuition includes one CD, a beautifully-illustrated songbook, one music download code (for accessing the music and making it portable in the most convenient manner for your family), exclusive online access to the Music Together Family Music Zone, as well as a growth chart and parent guide to assist in recognizing and celebrating the steps each child makes towards basic musical competence. Materials will be available for pick-up in September; enrolled families will be given details at a later time to arrange.

Registered families will be invited to join small groups of enrolled families outdoors on The Hub lawn on 1-2 Thursday mornings this fall, weather permitting, pending location availability and following local health guidelines. Music Together Online videos will still be available for the week(s) that Music Together Outdoors is planned.

Registrations: Use the registration link below or contact LCMT Director Kelli Schneider to reserve a place in class and make payment arrangements.

If an enrolled family withdraws after receiving class materials, a refund of tuition minus a $50 cancellation fee per child will be given. No tuition refunds or transfers are given after the first day of class*; however, a credit towards future tuition may be granted in exceptional circumstances. Make-up classes are available during the currently-enrolled session only and do not carry over to a future session.

*If a class is cancelled by LCMT due to low enrollment, prorated tuition for all cancelled classes will be made available to any family unable to continue.

Please note: We do our best to meet each week that is scheduled. However an unusual situation may arise where we may not able to run every class as planned. Every effort will be made to offer a rescheduled class, but there will be no automatic credit or refund for classes cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control.

Gift certificates are available in any amount.

Scholarships may be available for families in need. Please contact Director Kelli Schneider for a scholarship application or to contribute specifically to the scholarship fund.
